Rjukan Vertikal has been the initiative of local climber and mountain guide Jon Haukåssveen, with the aim to realise a climbing/outdoor life education combined with school.

This unique program gives local and foreign students in the age from 16 to 19 the opportunity to combine their studies with up to fifteen hours of training/education a week.

With Rjukan as our base camp, we have a privileged situation to enjoy nature one footstep away from our school facility.

In our backyard we enjoy Northern Europe’s best locations to practice rock climbing, ice climbing, and ski touring.
